Why YOMO 26 rides better
Proof-led details that help children ride with less effort, easier control and more confidence from the first push.
Looks can create the first smile. The right fit brings them back tomorrow.
Light weight, child-specific fit and easy control help confidence grow into more rides and a lasting love of cycling.

Lightweight build
At 9.9 kg, YOMO 26 keeps the ride manageable so your child can focus on confidence, not fighting the bike.

Child-specific geometry
YOMO geometry is built around a child’s proportions, helping riders sit naturally, steer predictably and feel in control.

Scaled for children
From grips and levers to cockpit sizing, the details are chosen so the bike feels natural rather than oversized.

Narrow Q-factor
The child-specific crank setup supports smoother pedalling and avoids the wide, awkward stance common on many children’s bikes.

Easy gear changes
Rapidfire-style shifting helps children learn gears confidently, with useful ratios that make hills and family rides easier.

Disc brake control
Mechanical disc brakes give bigger riders stronger, more consistent braking as speeds and distances increase.

Sealed bearing hubs
Sealed bearing hubs help the wheels roll smoothly and keep maintenance low, with child-friendly hardware details.

Child-specific saddle
The saddle is chosen for children’s proportions so longer rides stay comfortable and confidence lasts beyond the first few minutes.
A bike that feels light, natural and easy to control gives confidence room to grow.

What size child does this model suit?+
YOMO 26 is designed for riders aged approximately 10–14 years, with an inside leg of 68–85 cm and rider height from around 140 cm. Age starts the search; inside leg confirms the fit.
How much assembly is needed?+
YOMO 26 arrives 90% assembled with the front wheel removed for shipping. Fit and secure the front wheel, align the handlebar, install the pedals, complete every safety check and follow the included setup guide before riding.
How do I set the saddle height?+
For a newer rider, start low enough to place the balls of both feet securely on the ground while seated. As confidence grows, raise the saddle so the leg keeps a slight bend at the bottom of the pedal stroke, without exceeding the seatpost limit mark.
How should a rider learn to use gears?+
Start on flat ground. Lower gears make pedalling easier; higher gears suit faster riding. Shift before a hill and ease pressure on the pedals while changing gear.
How do I adjust the brake lever position?+
Loosen the lever clamp bolt slightly, rotate the lever to a comfortable angle for the rider hand, retighten it securely and confirm both brakes engage fully before riding.
What if a disc brake rubs?+
First confirm the wheel and quick release are seated securely. Check that the rotor runs centrally through the caliper. Follow the setup guide for caliper alignment or ask a qualified bike mechanic if rubbing continues; do not ride if braking is impaired.
How often should I service it?+
Check brakes, tyre pressure, gears, chain condition, wheel security and bolt tightness regularly. Arrange a yearly safety check by a qualified bike mechanic for regular riders.
Where is the serial number?+
The serial number is stamped underneath the frame around the bottom-bracket area. Take a clear photo after purchase for registration, warranty and support.
What is the maximum rider weight?+
The maximum total load for this model is 90 kg, including the rider and anything they carry. Staying within it keeps the frame, wheels and components working as designed.
What tyre pressure should I use?+
Use the permitted pressure range printed on the tyre sidewall. For a lighter rider, start in the lower part of that range and adjust for grip and comfort. Never exceed the maximum shown on the tyre.
What happens when my child outgrows it?+
YOMO BikeTrade lets you trade in an eligible YOMO towards the next size. The calculator gives an estimate; final credit is confirmed after inspection and depends on age, condition and the current programme terms.
What is the warranty?+
YOMO bikes include a 3-year frame and fork warranty as standard. Eligible bikes registered within 30 days receive lifetime frame and fork cover for the original purchaser. Other components are covered for 1 year against manufacturing faults. Normal wear, crashes, misuse, poor maintenance, incorrect assembly, modifications, improper repairs and cosmetic marks from use are not covered.
Can I return it if it is not right?+
Unused bikes can be returned within 30 days in their original condition, packaging and with all accessories included. Contact YOMO before returning the bike; collection costs may apply to unwanted returns.
